We are a group of volunteers who support the work of Skelton Grange Environment Centre. This includes fundraising, running events, maintaining connections with ex-volunteers and raising awareness of the centre.
Most members have links, past and present, with the environment centre.

What's with the slugs?
The friends of Skelton Grange evolved from the Slug Club. This in turn evolved from the Flying Slugs, an outreach project run by Skelton Grange.
Our aims and members may have changed, but our fondness for our slimy little friends remains.
